The Paulaner Festzelt at Oktoberfest
The Paulaner Festzelt has been a fixture at the Wiesn since 1895 — and the giant beer stein on its roof has long become a landmark. With pride and passion, the Stiftl host family carries on the tradition, offering guests a place where Bavarian joie de vivre, top culinary quality, and genuine hospitality merge into a unique experience.
The crowd is typically wonderfully mixed — whether young, old, or in between, everyone feels equally at home. Many regulars come together each year in the lovingly decorated tent, which is why seats are often fully booked months before Oktoberfest even begins.

Every year, millions of Oktoberfest visitors look forward to enjoying a freshly tapped Maß of Paulaner Oktoberfest beer at the Paulaner Festzelt. Specially brewed for Oktoberfest, this beer is served exclusively during the Wiesn season and represents authentic Munich brewing tradition. Freshly tapped and traditionally served, it is one of the highlights of any visit to the Paulaner Festzelt.
Live music & atmosphere
With Bavarian brass music, oldies, and the latest Wiesn hits, the Wiesnkapelle Quetschnblech under the direction of bandleader Georg Samberger reliably gets the tent atmosphere running at full speed — the young band from Vilsbiburg never fails to fire up the crowd. From 7 to 9 PM, the party band Nachtstark takes over, delivering the party of the Wiesn. From every seat, guests have an unobstructed view of the music and the action in the tent.
