The Münchner Knödelei Tent at Oktoberfest

The Münchner Knödelei is one of the best-known small tents at the Wiesn. Run by Florian and Bettina Oberndorfer since 2002, it has become a true institution — awarded in 2019 by the Bavarian State Ministry as an "Excellent Bavarian Festival Tent."

The star of the show is the dumpling in every imaginable variation — from the classic bread dumpling to mountain cheese and chanterelle, all the way to sweet apricot dumplings. Hacker-Pschorr flows from original wooden barrels. During the day it's a cozy meeting place; in the evening it transforms into a lively party tent with live music.

Drinks

The Münchner Knödelei serves Paulaner Oktoberfest beer — freshly tapped, whether in the indoor tent, the sunny beer garden, or at the Luis Bar in the beer garden boxes. Alongside the classic one-liter stein, there are also non-alcoholic drinks and other Wiesn classics like the Monaco Spritz.
