The Hofbräu Tent at Oktoberfest
The Hofbräu Tent, with around 10,000 seats, is one of the largest tents at the Wiesn — and certainly the most international. The letters "HB" with a crown are as world-famous as the tent façade modeled after the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl. Every year, numerous garlands made from a total of twelve hundredweight of hop vines from the Holledau region hang beneath the tent ceiling — and in the middle sits the angel Aloisius, known from Ludwig Thoma's satire "A Münchner in Heaven."
The Hofbräu Festzelt is a Bavarian tent with an international flair. The whole world meets here — the beer stein becomes a medium for international understanding. And because many locals also appreciate the special atmosphere, a unique mix of international guests and Munich residents is created.

Food & Drink
Oktoberfest is a festival of superlatives — and as the world's largest folk festival, it is unique in the beer metropolis of Munich. Year after year, it attracts millions of visitors from around the world who enjoy the special atmosphere at the Wiesn. For this occasion, Hofbräu München brews a particularly full-bodied beer that pairs perfectly with traditional Bavarian cuisine. With an alcohol content of over 6% vol. and a pleasantly bitter, balanced flavor, the Hofbräu Oktoberfest beer is as iconic as Oktoberfest itself.
Music & Ambiance
The Hofbräu tent is the epicenter of the beer tent party — in no other tent does the atmosphere heat up every evening quite like here. As the only tent at the Munich Oktoberfest, the Hofbräu Festzelt offers nearly 1,000 guests a standing area directly in front of the music stage — the reservation-free area is perfect for celebrating together and meeting new people. For many years, Alois Altmann and his band "Isarspatzen" have provided rousing entertainment, from Bavarian classics to English-language hits.
