Oktoberfest 2026
The only wine tent
Special Feature
Kufflers Weinzelt at Oktoberfest
Kufflers Weinzelt is a truly unique exception at Oktoberfest: the only large wine tent at the Wiesn. Since 1984 it has enriched the world-famous beer festival with an elegant alternative — with a tradition that actually stretches back to 1885, when a Spanish bodega first served wine at Oktoberfest.
Designed in the style of a Franconian wine garden, with rustic wooden booths and a cozy gallery, the Kuffler family's tent offers 1,920 indoor seats and 580 outdoors. The wine tent is especially popular as a party venue after midnight — while all other tents have already closed, the celebrations here continue until 1 AM.

Food & Drink
Kufflers Weinzelt offers a wide selection of wines, sparkling wine and Champagne — including Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart and Dom Pérignon. Until 9 PM, Paulaner Weißbier is also available in half-litre glasses. The menu brings together culinary highlights from the various Kuffler restaurants in Munich: Bavarian classics from the Haxnbauer, fish dishes from the Seehaus in the English Garden, and international specialties. Restaurant-quality preparation — that is the standard.
Music & Atmosphere
No traditional brass music is played in the wine tent — instead, up to five highly professional bands provide varied entertainment: from warm festival music to rousing acoustic performances to R&B classics. From 4 PM daily, the legendary Blechblos'n take over, having been rocking the tent since 1994. From 9 PM, when only wine is served, the atmosphere reaches its peak — and stays that way well past midnight.
